Configure Opera Cloud with Peoplevine Using OHIP

Take the steps to connect your Opera PMS to Peoplevine to sync member reservations and member data, preferences and more between Opera and Peoplevine.


  • Setting up Opera
    • Please note there are Production and Non-Production environments.  If you see UAT in the URL you are in NON-Production.  Simply remove UAT- and it should be the production URL.
    • When logging into Opera, click on forgot password to get an e-mail with your identify URL.
    • Take the interface ID and Interface Key and paste these into Peoplevine
    • Register the user
      • If you get an error that the authenticated user is already logged in, then you need to logout in the top right.  It should say Anonymous
    • ADMIN: Go into Opera identity management and approve the user
    • The user logs in and clicks on My Access

      • Click request roles
      • Then find ws access and add to cart
        Search and select individual items from the Catalog tab. Sets of pre-bundled items commonly used in your organization can be selected from the Request Profile!       • Click next to continue
        Back Add Access Checkout Cancel Next cart APIUser lual items from the Catalog tab. Sets of pre-bundled items comrnonly used in your organization can be selected from the Request Profiles tab.
      • Then hit submit
        Add Access Cart Details Request Information for connection to Justification Checkout Cancel Next Save As...
      • You'll see that the admin was notified
        A een Request 157619 was submitted for approval
      • Once they approve you'll receive an e-mail you can also close my access and re-open to see the WS Access

    • Make sure the admin approves any emails they receive with this request
    • Wait to receive an e-mail that confirms that everything is set.  Then add the environment
      • (3 emails - approve user, confirm approved, then OHIP keys)
    • Go to https://partner.hospitality-dev-portal.us-ashburn-1.ocs.oraclecloud.com/peoplevine1/ui/

    • Click on Add Environment and add the integration username which is the interface ID
      Add Environment O S Request Declined x This customer environment is not yet available via OHIP. Please contact us via My Oracle Support to ensure you can access Oracle Hospitality APIs for this environment.     • If you get the error you need to sign up for Opera Cloud Foundation
