If you didn't know already, your website is equiped with over a dozen ways to collect and process payments, one of them being a generic one at /charge/#. Currently, your website has a URL path enabled at /charge/# that was set up to allow your customers, members or other people pay you a one-time fee (that didn't correlate to a Peoplevine item like scheduler, membership, event ticket, etc.). This URL can become handy for asking people to pay for open items or one-off charges. For example, you could send someone to https://member.yoursite.com/charge/123.45 to charge someone $123.45.
In many cases this was handy, but for some of our clients, this URL was abused by bots or spammers. Therefore, we built a Platform Setting to enable or disable this feature.
To enable this feature, go to the Platform Settings and check the box to Allow people to make a payment at /charge/123.45 on my website.
